Is it really worth spending more time to add them to your article, especially one with lotsa links?
I’ve read a few articles and it seems that there are 2 distinct camps on this, which I shall call the optimist and the pessimist. Here I’ll attempt to summarise the primary lines of thoughts so that you can decide for youself if it’s suitable:
The Optimist:
The Pessimist:
Personally, I believe that if it increases the accessibility of your website - why not; but I believe it’ll be hard to constantly remember to add it to your article as it can be quite tedious. So are there any solutions out there to solve this? The answer’s yes but currently I’ve only found a solution for Wordpress users, so if any of the readers found another method of doing it easily, please update me as well =)So for Wordpress users, there’s a plugin called Title Grabber by Nick of Preow which automatically takes whats in between the title tags on the linked page and adds it to the link attribute everytime you save an article. I’ve tried it and it works great although it adds a few moments to the saving time of your article. Nonetheless, a very good plugin which reduces your workload and helps improve the accessibility of your site.
