Over at FreeAlerts, you’ll get to see a list of most expensive keywords available currently by Google Adwords estimations. “Selling structural settlements” topped the list with a single click worth $64.81 but considering the statistics only show a chance of 0.1 clicks/day, you’re earning almost nothing if you choose to use that as your content. Finally after months of waiting, Google updated its PageRank database! Although SEOnoob has only 28 posts (not including this one) and is barely 2 months old, it has already been linked by quite a few posts that were dugg/del.icoi.us-ed and was also listed on some wikis about SEO but the PR5 ranking given was quite a surprise to me =)

As always I’ll try to analyse the latest PR update and see if there were anything weird happening. One of the most critical component of PR used to be the no. of backlinks to the site, but I think in this latest PR update, there could be some major changes.There’s a new site which I track and frequent called techgurls, and although they’ve been dugg twice/thrice already, with almost 600 backlinks, they have only received a PR4, compared to SEOnoob, which only has 131 links. I bet most of you now must have heard of Text Link Ads by now but does it pay well or complement well with Adsense?For my case, the answer is YES, although the amount is not much and each link that I managed to sell vary between $5 -$12.50/month, it’s still a significant amount of income for a relatively low-traffic blog. Implementation wise, it’s very easy for a Wordpress blog and vBulletin forums and doubts about whether it’ll conflict with Google Adsense’s adverts have been cleared. (more…)
